Why partner with Carmanah?

At Carmanah, we specialize in designing and building long-lasting, high-quality solar-powered products you can trust. We leverage our expertise to make existing technologies better. First to market in marine aids-to-navigation, and with a long history of success in airfield lighting, obstruction lighting, and other applications, we provide durable, dependable, efficient, and cost-effective solar solutions for industrial applications that perform every day in some of the world’s harshest environments. More recently, we decided to go beyond lighting to see how else we could use our expertise in solar power to enhance other products in different industries.

That paved the way for Carmanah’s newest division, Telematics.

Carmanah Telematics is applying 20-plus years of engineering, manufacturing, and customer support experience to power remote devices for the Internet of Things.

In fact, we’ve been helping customers with very specific needs for years. Past projects include a marine lantern system in Colombia, which uses remote satellite monitoring to achieve a low-maintenance, state-of-the-art system suitable for ensuring safe navigation at two of Latin America’s leading ports.
